How does Crypto Fund work?

Investors evaluate funds based on their risk score and past performance. All deposits are pooled together in a single smart contract and receipt tokens are issued corresponding to it. The fund manager rebalances the crypto fund to maximize returns. The platform ensures funds can’t be mismanaged by imposing restraints and interest for all players.

The custody of the fund remains in the smart contract so that it can’t be withdrawn by the fund manager or anyone other than the depositor.

The crypto fund offers such a solution where investors can evaluate an expert on their on-chain past performance and invest in it. The custody of the fund is protected by smart contracts and the fund manager can only rebalance the composition to optimize it for returns.

You can evaluate a crypto fund, based on its theme set by the fund manager and its on-chain past performance. Investment can be made by transferring your fund to the crypto fund. If you already have cryptos, then you may transfer them directly. If not then you may be required to complete an on-ramp transaction first to convert your fiat currency (like $ or INR) into crypto and then you may send them to the crypto fund.

Entry Fee

The entry fee is the amount that is incurred on entering the crypto fund.

Exit Fee

An exit fee is a penalty that is incurred as a fee if the user leaves the fee prematurely. If the exit fee is set at 0.5% for 6 months then the investor incurs 0.5% as an exit fee if he/she decides on exiting the fee in less than 0.5%

Expense Ratio

The expense ratio is the fee that the user pays to the platform and the expert for maintaining the fund. It is expressed as an annual percentage of the AUM.
